Flying Down The Motorway

Driving on the motorway, as fast as can be,
With my foot down, flat to the floor,
Being in the fast lane, speeding you see,
Doing one hundred and then some more.
Banging my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, banging my head.

Banging my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Flying by truckers at my side,
With my top down, all the way,
Showing a smile, with all my pride,
In my porch, I say, I say.

Listening to music, way up loud,
Without a care, none at all,
Then all of a sudden, I seen a crowd,
In a field, I do recall.

Turning down the volume, what did I hear?
Someone shouting on a mike,
Then all of a sudden, there was a cheer,
When drums started beating, in perfect flight.

So I slowed down ready to stop,
To find out, what it was,
When someone they just lost the plot,
All dressed up, for the cause.

Driving on the motorway, as fast as can be,
With my foot down, flat to the floor,
Being in the fast lane, Oh yes it’s me,
Doing one hundred and then some more.

Banging my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, banging my head.

Banking my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Seeing flashing lights, coming behind,
Then a siren, squealing so raw,
While a copper began to chime,
Stop the car, you broke the law.

Giving him the fingers, in my mirror,
While putting the foot down, on my peddle,
While not knowing what would occur,
I just turned up the heavy metal.

Driving in the fast lane, as fast as can be,
With my foot down, flat to the floor,
Being in the fast lane, oh yes it’s me,
Doing one hundred and then some more.

Banging my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, banging my head,

Banging my head, banging my head.
Jumping up and down, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Crashing through road blocks, not giving a dam,
Speeding up, speeding up,
Supping on a beer that’s in my hand,
Who really cares, who really cares?

Then all of a sudden, it happened to me,
The spikes went out, across the road,
Pop went the tyres as flat as can be,
Then crash, bang, wallop, my car explodes.

Driving in the fast lane, as fast as can be,
With my foot down, flat to the floor,
Being in the fast lane, speeding you see,
Doing one hundred and the some more.

Banking my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, banging my head.

Banging my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Banging my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, and now I’m dead.

Banging my head, banging my head,
Jumping up and down, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
