What is a poem, really about?

You may ask or you may shout.

Well I’ll tell you, now shall I?

A poem is something that feels alive.

Telling a story in a different way,

To twist it around so handsome and gay.

That can be fiction or even true,

Through words of wisdom now for you.

With some humor and smart chat,

That could be also called a rap.

With a message to rhyme for you,

Well to be honest they don't have to.
