Do you know what this is?

In plain English without taking the piss.

Please tell me, what I can see,

So I can understand now this for free.

Oh I see now, is that right,

Mankind’s fuel for a fight.

Alcoholism is what it means,

Now that is something that’s in my dreams.

Including a bottle, including a glass,

Another drink please, I beg, I ask.

 

 

Here's a link everyone can visit and get inspired by those who strayed in life became addicts and are now on the road to recovery through one young mans dream. I have contributed to this book also with some of my own poetry. I will admit I am an ex addict and also found the same path in life.

I'm a homeless man without a plan

I'm a crazy person with a can

I'm a reservoir without a dam

I'm an alcoholic oh yes man

I'm a tramp with many a fan

I'm a poet who don't eat spam

I'm a vegetarian who eats ham

I'm a lire who drives a van

I'm a dopey person taking a gram

I'm a Jammie dodger without jam

But most of all I'm a simple man
