Lifes just a jungle

Life's just a jungle
As we live day by day
Looking to the future
Which is mysterious and Gray

Hoping for that moment
To simply shine through
Yet there is always someone
Who wants to mess with you

So what would you do
When this moment occurs
Sending you into rage
As everything becomes blur

Would you stand and fight
Even if you lose your house
Along with your children
Partner or spouse

And even go to prison
For going over the edge
For never to return
Because of furious rage

Or would you walk away
And let things be
To become a complete coward
For the world to see

Sometimes its not worth it
And people can change
Until that day comes
When you seek revenge

Because its been niggling at you
One day at a time
Killing your street cred
Just like this rhyme

Then you explode
Simply out of the blue
At the very right time
Away from cameras too

In a back street or alley
Simply one on one
Out of the sight of people
Without the power of the gun

And if you win
Then you got a result
And if you lose
It's not your fault

But at least you did it
Old school rules
With fists and feet
And no dammed tools

And at the end
You respect each other
As if you where family
A proper street brother

But gangs these days
Don't have any rules
For whatever they use
Wither guns or tools

Make them feel strong
And others feel scared
Which makes life on the street
Tough it is said

We Have To Say What We Have To Say

We have to say what we have to say
As we live life from day to day
Getting moved on in a crazy way
By security oh oh yeah

In freezing temperatures out on the street
Writing these words I'd simply repeat
Not knowing why so turn up the heat
Yet this is life so don't admit defeat

Just carry on the way you are
Doing what you do to take you far
Who really cares about legal power
Because you know your a rising star

Flying high way above the sky
Doing all the things before you die
Knowing it and it's no lie
Going to prison is legal why?

With illegal crimes committed for free
So we don't have to beg you see
In a way to beat poverty
Oh yes baby it's the way to be

Unless your an artist on the road
Having to live no fixed abode
While carrying a big heavy load
As your brain wants to explode

Yet with no money what do you do
For many an artist breaks the rules too
And with no I.D. simply on you
You can't get benefits which is true

So I write my crazy little rhymes
While thinking about better times
In the future without these crimes
That come out quickly in many lines

Giving you all pleasure simply for free
As a poet or artist to be
In a way that comes naturally
Well this is life on the edge you see

Survival

When your feeling all the things
That no one understands
In a life that you live
Yet you've never planned

As the people walking past you
At the side of the road
As your writing in your sleeping bag
While living no fixed abode

Hoping for a proper meal
Instead of can in hand
Even though its real freezing
Upon this very land

With Christmas simply over now
Please have no fear
For everyone will help you out
After spreading Christmas cheer

Yet you have no benefits
And try to keep yourself clean
Even though many others
Want to treat you mean

With no Identification
Its even harder too
This is real life now
So don't think it won't happen to you

And if it really does
You'll find it really tough
For you will have to fight
To hold on to your stuff

For others will simply rob you
As they fight for survival too
Out on the streets
Where death can come for true

When your down on your luck

When you are down on your luck,
And you don’t know what to do,
When you want to make a buck,
And you haven’t got a clue,
Just keep on partying,
That’s what you got to do,
Because you know,
You have the answers deep inside you.

When you are down on your luck,
And you don’t know what to do,
When you’re really, really stuck,
And you haven’t got a clue,
Just keep on praying,
That’s what you got to do,
And if that don’t work,
Well then,
There’s something wrong with you.

When you are down on your luck,
And you don’t know what to do,
When your life does suck,
And you haven’t got a clue,
Just keep straying,
That’s what you got to do,
And if that don’t work,
Then the Police will love you.

Sitting On The Street

When I sit here on the street,
Rhyming words that are unique.
You pass me by in disgrace,
While spitting on my poor face.

As I try to help myself,
To make things better without wealth.
So I can do what I can,
To survive upon this land.

To rise among the rich with glory,
To tell the world a different story.
About what its like upon the street,
In words of rhyme that are unique.

Even though it can get cold,
I won't be here when I am old.
Because I belief in what I do,
To help people like me to.

As I am one who has a heart,
Who will try his best I do remark.
To show the world as a nation,
That homeless people where Gods creation.

Even though we have our doubts,
In life itself and what it’s about.
As we will survive by any means,
Even when we get ourselves clean.

To do the things that has to be done,
To help those people, one on one.
To show the world, what we can do,
Because we know God loves us to.
